Well it’s later today, about 13 hours since my last post. I got about 2 hours of sleep last night, not a bad experience to start my new life. It was all for not last night because my middle class was cancelled and i had about six hours to get my poster finished. Everywhere was going well until we spent four hours trying to get our stuff printed. Alls went well and we got our poster printed and now i sit helpings other, its hard being that guy :-p. I kid, i kid.

Well we had a most interesting type class today, we had to write a love poem and i will share mine.

I believe it went as follows,
From my heart to your soul
Through the sky, clear, cloudy, or partly cloud
The love carries the wind

It was a nice class even though the teacher was a bit strange. He wrote down all of peoples answers to his theoretical questions. It was as if he was going to use them later for his own advertising, like he was soaking up our ideas.

Salutations! This is my first sleepless night in Hamburg. I am doing work so its not just insomnia, which makes it ok. Anyway, i had my first design class today in which we we’re introduced to good & bad layouts. It seemed like all of female students were infatuated with our design student, who was the prettiest of the pretty boys. He seems like a very down to earth and well rounded dude, hopefully he will be a good teacher!

Anyway while i have been doing my project, i was introduced to some new music. All of which is absolutely amazing. Here are the links, the first one is Die Atzen: a german hip-hop band more on the crazy side. I love it! The name should speak for itself. Strobo Pop and the second one is by Scntst. This is the first song i have heard by them but i plan on listening to them a lot more. 909 Time.

But the real reason why today is so special is that i finally get to work in a hammock! My roommate Sayalee found it hanging on the wall, what a great discovery. My photo is my in the hammock. And on that note, cheers folks and goodnight! Ill try and post again tonight!

Hallo peoples of Tumblr and my dear 8 followers :)

I have come to the point where my new life makes sense! Yesterday was my first day of classes! Please let me be the first to tell you, MASE is amazing. If anyone ever has a chance to attend this school, do it. why? because i said so! Today we got an introduction from Niklas, btw he is an amazing person and an even better motivator. He sat down with all of the student in MASE and told them that they have to perform better! Tell me another director who does this? This guy is amazing and I will surely enjoy my time! For now that is all i have about the school.

My roommates are turning out to be much better people than i thought, i love them both very much and i hardly know them! But everyone in MASE is an amazing person who is full of life and not afraid to step out of the comfort zone!

Well i think i will combine two posts into one.

So today we met our photography teacher Olaf Kroenke. He is a absolutely crazy but apparently i make his heart go boom boom! This guy reminds me of my old high school photography teacher! He is a very talented photographer/producer/musician and overall a great person to be around. I look forward to more classes with him and i would like to learn all his has to offer. I am posting a photo of my classmates, this is a test photo we took at our studio. I really want to start using this studio more!

Cheers everyone, have a great night!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings from 2012! The streets in Hamburg were covered in smoke from the fireworks, it was like walking throughout a stephen king horror movie. Visibility was awful and you could only see an arm length in front of you. The metro was complete chaos, it was populated with drunks and polizei. Biggest difference between New Years in America and Hamburg is no violence. On the way home we found a bottle of Coca-Cola, which Eszter drank. It was so popular to drink Coke with Jägermeister that she got mistaken for drinking on the Metro.

Sure enough i met a fellow from Moscow whose name is also Sasha, he was smoking a cigar with his friends in St.Pauli. That place was off the chain! This is all i can remember at this point, maybe I will add more later. New Years 2012 was amazing and i will remember it forever!

Well leave it up to the Germans to sit at a desk and meticulously create scale models of major countries, and then create a museum out of it. The museum is called Miniature Wunderland, and it is hidden in the streets of St.Pauli. Which in itself is a lovely district and includes prostitutes and cheap liquor.
Back to the Wunderland, it consists of 3 floors of trains, airplanes, cars, people, boats, real water, space shuttles. Basically it has everything that our mother earth houses. If you continue to look closely, there are humorous situations scattered in the world. Im done writing for today, i caught up for the past 4 days. Time to go move into my apartment!

Hokay, so obviously i have no what i am talking about because Hamburg is stunning. The Metro is extremely easy and convenient except when it comes to monthly passes. Im still trying to figure out if it is worth it. Vodafone’s pay as you go service is confusing especially when its all in German. Other than getting used to everything the first few days, id say things are going swimmingly.

On a lighter note, Hamburg reminds a lot of Chicago. Its got similar buildings, above-ground tram and the lovely wind. However, Im positive that Hamburg is The original.

Ok. So here is post #2. No i will not be numbering all of them, just the few hundred or so. Anyway, I met my lovely roommates Eszter and Sayalee. Got my German cellphone number, and established a bank account. Also, got a chance to look at the apartment where I will be staying in for the first five months. I feel like a real German resident.

Its all starting to feel really real. Walking around Hamburg I was surprised to see how much graffiti there is on the buildings. Its not good graffiti either, its just sloppy tagging.

To tell you I am not scared would be a big fat lie, but i am excited. I will try my hardest to post a picture of everyday i spend in this lovely country. This picture will begin my project of a picture everyday for the next two years.. So lets go and step through the door and enter a new world.

Cheers.

Sour Patch Kids

Sour Patch kids team up with Method to make this awesome video. First they’re sour then sweet. It is a promo and its a good one, it disguises itself as a music video. Well done! Those sour patch kids were pretty rough to Method, deleting all his Facebook friends? Rough. The production agency behind this spectacular promo is HungryMan. They also have a good selection of their work including music videos, commercials and other productions. Check them out, or dont. Either way Conan is driving the car off of the cliff!

You’ve Got a Case Ad

Will Arnett is a lawyer by the name of Kent Wesley. The thing he has in his office? Pants. Objections and over-rulings are only half of what Kent has to offer. He will customize a plea of your choosing. This campaign is well thought out and persuasive. To fully experience it, visit AT&T Facebook Page Till the next one.

Cheers!
